Genetal warts symptoms - genatal wharts (herpies) signs

Genetal warts (also known as condyloma warts) is a very contagious infection, similar to genital herpies. Genatal warts symptoms are brought on by some strains of human papilloma virus (abbreviated: HPV) and genital warts signs are contagious through direct contact during sex - oral, genitel, or anal, if your partner carries an active Genital wharts or genetical herpies nfection.

Genetal warts symptoms

Genitel warts is a fairly common sexual condition in men but with non-specific symptoms. When a man is infected by genitile warts, they are often located on or near the penis tip. Someimes genetial warts can be seen on the penis rod or in/around the anal opening or the in the area of the scrotum. It is possible, but uncommon, that genatal warts are found in mouth or throat after infection via oral sex.

Both genital herpies and genetal warts are caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV), a virus very commonly found in infections in the general population today. Current research points towards an 80% penetration of the population. We know of around one hundred different strains of this virus, of which around 30 can be considered STD's (can only transmit via sexual contact). Some of these strains will cause genitile warts while some can be higher risk and be the cause of cervical cancers.

In a large number of cases, the majority of genitile worts, HPV-infected people will not even know that they are infected with genitle warts. In these cases the virus causes no symptoms at all. Male infections are more likely than female infections to lack symptoms, even if the virus itself tends to infect males and females with equal probability. The lack of symptoms does not mean you are not contagious, you can actually still be highly contagious to your sexual partners.

The symptoms, if any, when infected by a HPV version that will cause genitel warts, are normally visible from a couple of weeks into the infection up to a few months. There are other cases though where the virus starts off with a long dormant period of several years before the first symptoms show up.

The genital worts themselves can be described as small cauliflower looking dimples. White in color, or sometimes flesh-colored. They can appear alone, or in larger clusters, most often in the genital or anal areas but sometimes also around the mouth. In normal cases the genitile warts are not painful but they can cause problems with urination and bowel movements.

Treatment of genatal warts (genital warts) and herpies

Genetal warts can often go away all by themselves without any treatment at all but in some cases when they don't, they can typically develop a bulky and rather small growth. It is not known to science of today why genital wharts sometimes disappear by themselves, and sometimes not.

There are many useable treatments of genetical warts, depending a lot on the size of the infection and where it is located. A few well tested methods for treating genatal warts are:

There are some clinics that use injections of interferon-alpha, an antiviral medicine. This is a very expensive method of treating genitel warts though and recurrence of the whorts will not be improved upon with this method.

What are they symptoms of genetal warts?

It is important to realize that not all infected with genital warts will show any symptoms or signs of the condition (unlike genetal herpies). There may be painless and wart-like growths found on a patients sex organs or around the anus bt these are not always genital wharts, proper testing may be required to reveal wheter it is genitile warts or not.

Genatal (gental) warts will typically appear in clusters and are often very small. They can also sometimes be seen as larger clusters in the genital area or on the penis. In a woman, it is possible to get genetal warts both outside of and inside of the vagina. Genital wharts can also affect the cervix or the anal opening.

Are genitel warts or genitile herpies dangerous conditions?

Most often not, but it is possible that it develops into something more serious. For most people these wharts are only a minor problem of cosmetic nature, and can be treated if the patient so wish. If a woman have developed genetial warts on the cervix, they might develop into something more serious and in this case it is advisable to have a pap smear test (pelvic exam) to check that it is not a problem (as there is always a risk of developing cervical cancer). Anyone with wharts on or inside the anal opening should preferably have an annual exam as well.

What do I do if I suspect I have genatal warts?

How can genetal warts (gental worts) be treated?

Will the genital wharts come back?

There is a risk of recurrence, yes. Even if you have had gental warts treatment. This is due to the fact that they are caused by a virus, still present after treatment as the medical treatment only addresses the symptoms of genetical warts.
